In the 84th minute, Guaberto Pabla hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Alfredo Ioritz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gilberto Iyan, who was totally free with the ball in the 85th minute. In the 89th minute, Eriberto Kelemen fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Rolando Urtzi, passed just outside the right post. If Bernardino Eztebe had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 93rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bernardino Eztebe in the 95th minute of play forced J.P.S's goalkeeper Alfredo Ioritz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Alfredo Ioritz stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Gilberto Iyan's shot from short distance in the 97th minute. For all the effort they put into the match, the J.P.S players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Mataderos F.C..
