Orán's supporters crossed their fingers, but Aquilino Favila was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Ignacio Pabla in the 15thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Dionisio Vincent, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Aquilino Favila charged in rather forcefully in the 21st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. Elpidio Txurio fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 45th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dionisio Vincent having to interfere. Dionisio Vincent made an important save on a dangerous shot by Elpidio Txurio in the 47th minute. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.
