After a defensive mix-up in Lechuza's zone, Elpidio Txurio stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Cornelio Tomi came out of the goal and Elpidio Txurio tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. With a little luck, Lechuza's Cornelio Tomi got control of the ball when Elpidio Txurio tried to sneak it across the goal line. With his leg Cornelio Tomi managed to avoid a goal in the 21stth minute, when Orán's Elpidio Txurio fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Federico Bittor received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 23rd minute. Jonas Blanco tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 24 played minutes Orán got a freekick which was hit by Abel Cibran. In the 25th minute Edelmiro Arce shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jonas Blanco saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The supporters of Lechuza booed when Orán was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 34 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ciro Rodas didn't get a good kick on the ball. Edelmiro Arce scored 0-1 in the 36th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Jonas Blanco, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. The Lechuza fans' excitement grew in the 44th match minute when Lechuza's Edelmiro Arce looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-2 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-2 lead.

The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Lechuza walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
