Pastor Handi started the match with the kick off. 3 minutes into the match, Covunco's goal looked a bit too open when Julio Martinez came free, but Aldo Lluques reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 8th minute, Julio Martinez managed to get in a good position for a shot. Batata AFC's supporters rose to their feet, but Julio Martinez was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Aldo Lluques breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Mauro Pirmin kicked well hit freekick during the 14th minute of the match. 15 minutes into the match, Batata AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Pastor Handi came free, but Remigio Gudesteo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 18th minute, Pastor Handi ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Remigio Gudesteo was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. Pastor Handi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 24th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Covunco's Pastor Handi in the 29th minute got a chance for a shot 29th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Batata AFC's goalie prevented a goal. If Pastor Handi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 30th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Pastor Handi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 34th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Isaac Jacindo's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Aldo Lluques firmly grabbed it by the left post. Isaac Jacindo could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 45th minute of the match, but Aldo Lluques made a huge save.

In the 53rd minute, Isaac Jacindo got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 62nd minute Pastor Handi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Remigio Gudesteo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 69 minutes into the game, Casimiro Savion recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Remigio Gudesteo. Casimiro Savion showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-2. After a defensive mix-up in Covunco's zone, Isaac Jacindo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Aldo Lluques came out of the goal and Isaac Jacindo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Aldo Lluques made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ambrosio Maule in the 74th minute of play. Batata AFC's Isaac Jacindo got a good chance for a goal in the 83rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Isaac Jacindo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 92nd minute. Aldo Lluques tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After some careless play in the Covunco defense, Julio Martinez kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Aldo Lluques. The Covunco fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Aldo Lluques should have stopped the shot. The Covunco players were the happier at the end of the match as they had prevented Batata AFC from taking control. The game ends in a draw.
