He was immediately shown a red card. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 15th minute of the game. One of Wilde:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Covunco:s goal. Celedonio Artizar struck a weak shot in the 21st minute. Celedonio Artizar could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 27th minute of the match, but Delmiro Umea made a huge save. Delmiro Umea took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Pastor Handi, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The audience thought a goal was coming when Celedonio Artizar got free with Delmiro Umea in the 32nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Isaac Beturian recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 35th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 38 minutes into the match, Covunco's goal looked a bit too open when Lucio Urtsin came free, but Aldo Lluques reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Isaac Beturian's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Aldo Lluques read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 39th minute of play. Delmiro Umea showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Pastor Handi in the 46th minute of the match. In the 47th minute, Celedonio Artizar ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Delmiro Umea was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-0. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 3-0.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Pastor Handi was the one to do the kick off. A collision led to Wilde getting a freekick after 55 minutes play. Lucio Urtsin hit a great ball. After 58 played minutes Covunco got a freekick which was hit by Celedonio Artizar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Casimiro Savion in the 71st minute of play forced Wilde's goalkeeper Delmiro Umea to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 72 minutes, Lucio Urtsin mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Wilde and the Covunco players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Wilde's Lucio Urtsin got a free kick in the 72nd minute. If Pastor Handi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 83rd minute. After a defensive mix-up in Covunco's zone, Isaac Beturian stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Aldo Lluques came out of the goal and Isaac Beturian tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After having played for 96 minutes, Ernesto Claude managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Wilde's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ernesto Claude was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Isaac Beturian took the ball and in the 98 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Aldo Lluques. Aldo Lluques dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-2. Covunco's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
