Zeledon Teodor showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Emiliano Bazkoare in the 22nd minute of the match. Carmelo Blai recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 23rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Elias Loreto received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 27th minute. Elpidio Mannuel tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 28th match minute, Urizar was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alfonso Urko to maneuver through the defense. Cesar Jatsus short, quick shot in the 29thth minute got Elpidio Mannuel to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Elite FC's Eliseo Godoy shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 31st minute of play. The shot was stopped by Elpidio Mannuel but with some difficulty. In the 32nd minute, Elias Loreto got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 36 minutes into the game, Anacleto Berdaitz was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Elite FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Urizar the free kick. In the 36th match minute, Elite FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Anacleto Berdaitz to maneuver through the defense. Carmelo Blai's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Zeledon Teodor read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 39th minute of play. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Elias Loreto stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Emiliano Bazkoare sent away a hard shot on goal in the 53rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 71st match minute, Urizar was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Efrain Ortle to maneuver through the defense. Baldomiro Basualdo, 72 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. If Cesar Jatsu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 90th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Neither set of supporters seemed pleased with the draw, but both teams had played equally well today.
