The audience thought a goal was coming when Maximiliano Dino got free with Reynaldo Estebano in the 10th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Faustino Gaizkine kicked well hit freekick during the 14th minute of the match. Atreucó's Pascual Gudesteo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sergio Caitano in the 18th minute of play. Maximiliano Dino could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 20th minute of the match, but Reynaldo Estebano made a huge save. After a rather tough play, Def. de Talleres's Angelino Ferdinand got a free kick in the 24th minute. Reynaldo Estebano made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ovidio Mancio in the 26th minute of play. Pascual Gudesteo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Primitivo Uzuri, who was totally free with the ball in the 32nd minute. Ovidio Mancio struck a weak shot in the 34th minute. Reynaldo Estebano didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Atreucó. Ovidio Mancio received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Reynaldo Estebano came out and tried to block the shot, but Ovidio Mancio slotted it home off the left post making it 1-0 in the 36th minute. In the 39th minute, Juan Flor hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Def. de Talleres's Reynaldo Estebano proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 40th minute of the match, managed to save Def. de Talleres from getting a goal against them. In the 40th minute, Atreucó's Maximiliano Dino ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Reynaldo Estebano. Reynaldo Estebano yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-0. In the 48th minute Juan Flor shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Pascual Gudesteo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-0 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Primitivo Uzuri was the one to do the kick off. Atreucó's defense didn't have a chance, in the 53rd minute, when Primitivo Uzuri scored to the left of an out of position Pascual Gudesteo, making the score, 2-1. Reynaldo Estebano showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Maximiliano Dino in the 61st minute of the match. 63 minutes into the match, Maximiliano Dino notched a goal, 3-1, to the right of Def. de Talleres's Reynaldo Estebano. Reynaldo Estebano was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Atreucó. 80 minutes into the game, Def. de Talleres's Jeronimo Dolfo nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Pascual Gudesteo made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-2. After some careless play in the Atreucó defense, Nunez Jakue kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Pascual Gudesteo. The Atreucó fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Pascual Gudesteo should have stopped the shot. When the match clock showed 88 minutes, the score became 4-3 when Maximiliano Dino sped through Def. de Talleres's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Reynaldo Estebano. Reynaldo Estebano made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Maximiliano Dino in the 91st minute of play. After 94 minutes, Maximiliano Dino made it 5-3 with a short kick to the right side. Def. de Talleres's Reynaldo Estebano tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot.
