Fenix Dark's Celedonio Weather played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ramon Veronica in the 19th minute of play. Delmar Etxahun recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 32nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. It was beautiful to see Dopping Positivo's Evaristo Santikurtz in action when he in the 36th minute dribbled his way through a couple of opponents and the fired away a shot from almost standing still. First the ball seemed to get in, but turned out to be on the outside of the net. A great chance! After 38 played minutes Fenix Dark got a freekick which was hit by Reynaldo Gorka. Roque Gotzon showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Delmar Etxahun, who was totally free with the ball in the 40th minute. In the 42nd minute Delmar Etxahun shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Roque Gotzon saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Rafael Maura fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 48th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Celedonio Weather having to interfere. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Ramon Veronica stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After 53 played minutes Justino Santos rounded Dopping Positivo's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 0-1. Delmar Etxahun who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 62ndth minute tested the skills of Roque Gotzon when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Rafael Maura received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 64th minute. Celedonio Weather tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Justino Santos might have been able to make a better finish in the 73rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Roque Gotzon. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Justino Santos ran back to his position shaking his head. When Marcelino Urbez came up free with the goalie in the 76th minute, the Dopping Positivo fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Marcelino Urbez couldn't finish the play. With an all-out effort, Fenix Dark's Roque Gotzon threw himself towards the right post 81 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Justino Santos, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. In the 87th minute the ball was on its way in behind Dopping Positivo's goalkeeper Roque Gotzon, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 89th minute, Delmar Etxahun left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Fenix Dark fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. After a rather tough play, Dopping Positivo's Alberto Onbera got a free kick in the 93rd minute. Roque Gotzon showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Justino Santos, who was totally free with the ball in the 97th minute. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Fenix Dark eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
