In the 16th minute Honorio Tiadoro shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Vladimiro Procopio saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Robustiano Loi came up free with the goalie in the 22nd minute, the Domínguez fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Robustiano Loi couldn't finish the play. Robustiano Loi's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Vladimiro Procopio read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 28th minute of play. A collision led to La Dolfina getting a freekick after 35 minutes play. Amancio Aznaro hit a great ball. In the 46th minute, La Dolfina's Isidoro Neron ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Eriberto Montae. Eriberto Montae yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-0.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Isidoro Neron stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 55th minute, Amancio Aznaro hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Honorio Tiadoro came up free with the goalie in the 60th minute, the Domínguez fans jumped to their feet. Many of Domínguez's supporters were seen to leave the ground early as it became clear their team was going to lose. Domínguez may have spent more time on the ball, but La Dolfina were more willing to take their chances and they walked away with the win.
