Spectators: 5750 (Terracing: 4500, Seating: 1200, VIP seats: 50) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Isidoro Neron took the kick off in the first half of the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Jimeno Cristofol got free with Vladimiro Procopio in the 3rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. La Dolfina's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Honorio Oliveiro 4 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 1-0. In the 9th minute, Jimeno Cristofol got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Gualterio Gaizko's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Vladimiro Procopio read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 11th minute of play. Los Linyeras de Merlo's Erubiel Curcio got a good chance for a goal in the 14th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Vladimiro Procopio took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gualterio Gaizko, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 20 minutes into the match, La Dolfina's goalkeeper Vladimiro Procopio had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Erubiel Curcio. Honorio Oliveiro received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 25th minute. Vladimiro Procopio tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Erubiel Curcio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 29th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Epifanio Ostadar sent away a hard shot on goal in the 31st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Jimeno Cristofol came up free with the goalie in the 34th minute, the Los Linyeras de Merlo fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Jimeno Cristofol couldn't finish the play. If Gualterio Gaizko had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 36th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Amancio Aznaro's late challenge caught a Los Linyeras de Merlo's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Amancio Aznaro helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to La Dolfina getting a freekick after 40 minutes play. Amancio Aznaro hit a great ball. If Jimeno Cristofol had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 42nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Gualterio Gaizko was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 43rd minute. Los Linyeras de Merlo's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. In the 44th minute the ball was on its way in behind La Dolfina's goalkeeper Vladimiro Procopio, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Jimeno Cristofol recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 47th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal.

51 minutes into the match, La Dolfina's goal looked a bit too open when Honorio Oliveiro came free, but Vladimiro Procopio reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.
