Damaso Beturian sent away a hard shot on goal in the 3rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 7 minutes into the match, C.A Bella Vista's Laureano Poncio sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Nicanor Gagriel narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Baldomiro Nerio kicked well hit freekick during the 10th minute of the match. Laureano Poncio received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 17th minute. Nicanor Gagriel tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Albano Sedeni struck a weak shot in the 20th minute. Nicanor Gagriel didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for C.A Bella Vista. Laureano Poncio might have been able to make a better finish in the 25th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Nicanor Gagriel. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Laureano Poncio ran back to his position shaking his head. Laureano Poncio's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Nicanor Gagriel read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 26th minute of play. C.A Bella Vista's Fermin Etor proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 35th minute of the match, managed to save C.A Bella Vista from getting a goal against them. If Laureano Poncio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 36th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 40 minutes into the match, Paternal AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Laureano Poncio came free, but Nicanor Gagriel reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in C.A Bella Vista's zone, Silvestre Chesus stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Fermin Etor came out of the goal and Silvestre Chesus tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Ceferino Honrio received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 48th minute. Fermin Etor tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Laureano Poncio made a kick off. The supporters of Paternal AFC booed when C.A Bella Vista was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 54 match minutes in a wonderful position. Filiberto Toli didn't get a good kick on the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Ceferino Honrio in the 56th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Fermin Etor prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After 57 played minutes C.A Bella Vista got a freekick which was hit by Isidro Florian. After some fancy dribbling in the 60th minute, Ulises Muc managed to get in a good position for a shot. Paternal AFC's supporters rose to their feet, but Ulises Muc was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Fermin Etor breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 60th minute Ulises Muc shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fermin Etor saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ulises Muc scored 1-0 in the 62nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Fermin Etor, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Ulises Muc fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 65th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fermin Etor having to interfere. The audience was convinced that Ulises Muc's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Fermin Etor was relentless in the 72nd minute of the game. After 74 played minutes C.A Bella Vista got a freekick which was hit by Filiberto Toli. Paternal AFC were awarded a corner in the 77th minute after C.A Bella Vista's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Baldomiro Nerio took the corner. Laureano Poncio recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 82nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 85th match minute, Paternal AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Baldomiro Benvido to maneuver through the defense. C.A Bella Vista's Pedro Horado shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 86th minute of play. The shot was stopped by Nicanor Gagriel but with some difficulty.
