When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Salvador Ekain made a kick off. If Jimeno Cristofol had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 53rd minute. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Igor Victoro prevented the ball from getting in the gole. There was no doubt that Los Linyeras de Merlo were the better team. Los Linyeras de Merlo's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
