After some fancy dribbling in the 14th minute, Gualterio Gaizko managed to get in a good position for a shot. Los Linyeras de Merlo's supporters rose to their feet, but Gualterio Gaizko was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Eustacio Roldanillo breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 16 minutes into the game, Los Linyeras de Merlo's Honorio Oliveiro nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Eustacio Roldanillo made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. Erubiel Curcio received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 25th minute. Eustacio Roldanillo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 26 minutes, Eusebio Barrionuevo mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the 10 boludos y un arquero and the Los Linyeras de Merlo players grew even worse after the yellow card. Jimeno Cristofol fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 35th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Eustacio Roldanillo having to interfere. Jimeno Cristofol received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 37th minute. Eustacio Roldanillo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The audience thought a goal was coming when Severino Bilintx got free with Clodoveo Eduino in the 43rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Erubiel Curcio stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After 52 played minutes 10 boludos y un arquero got a freekick which was hit by Leopoldo Donio. Erubiel Curcio recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 55th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 59 minutes into the match, 10 boludos y un arquero's goalkeeper Eustacio Roldanillo had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Jimeno Cristofol. If Gualterio Gaizko had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 61st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Fidel Lain struck a weak shot in the 64th minute. Eustacio Roldanillo didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Los Linyeras de Merlo. Honorio Oliveiro received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 67th minute. Eustacio Roldanillo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Fidel Lain fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 73rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Eustacio Roldanillo having to interfere. If Jimeno Cristofol had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 75th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. When Erubiel Curcio came up free with the goalie in the 76th minute, the Los Linyeras de Merlo fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Erubiel Curcio couldn't finish the play. In the 89th match minute, 10 boludos y un arquero was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Hermengildo Ritchie to maneuver through the defense. After having played for 94 minutes, Epifanio Ostadar managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Los Linyeras de Merlo's supporters crossed their fingers, but Epifanio Ostadar was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 96 minutes into the match, 10 boludos y un arquero's goal looked a bit too open when Honorio Oliveiro came free, but Eustacio Roldanillo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Los Linyeras de Merlo's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
