The Mixto fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Adolfo Telo should have stopped the shot. 6 minutes into the game, Remigio Erlantz was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Porvenir's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Mixto the free kick. In the 6th minute, Remigio Erlantz hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 9th minute, Celso Florinio got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Mixto's Adolfo Telo proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 12th minute of the match, managed to save Mixto from getting a goal against them. Celso Florinio received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 16th minute. Adolfo Telo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Adolfo Telo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Celso Florinio in the 20th minute of the match. Adolfo Telo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Celso Florinio, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Mixto's Adolfo Telo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Celso Florinio in the 27th minute of play. With an all-out effort, Porvenir's Adolfo Telo threw himself towards the right post 31 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Celso Florinio, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. If Valentin Pagomari had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 41st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 43rd minute, Valentin Pagomari fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. Valentin Pagomari sent away a hard shot on goal in the 47th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Celso Florinio was the one to do the kick off. The supporters of Porvenir booed when Mixto was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 83 match minutes in a wonderful position. Eloy Aztore didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 84th minute of the match Silvano Flor sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Adolfo Telo skillfully saved the ball. In the 89th minute, Celso Florinio made a precise shot to the right of Adolfo Telo. Mixto's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-0. Adolfo Telo didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Celso Florinio went, in the 95th minute, to the upper right corner, 3-0 was the resulting score. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Porvenir fully deserved thier win.
