The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Herminio Galindo during the 4th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 4th match minute, Wilde AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Herminio Galindo to maneuver through the defense. When Ranchillo FC's Leonides Turi in the 6th minute got a chance for a shot 6th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. After 11 played minutes, Wilde AFC's Serafino Polo shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Cristo Kinsen came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Wilde AFC reached it. Wilde AFC's Rodrigo Anaya proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 15th minute of the match, managed to save Wilde AFC from getting a goal against them. In the 18th minute, Moises Rosio left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Wilde AFC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. When Ranchillo FC's Leonides Turi, in the 24th minute, received a pass right in front of the net, it looked like a certain goal, but his shot went outside. A wasted opportunity for Ranchillo FC. Rodrigo Anaya didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 29th minute, which inside left pole to 1-1. If Leonides Turi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 35th minute. Melquiades Ihazintu kicked well hit freekick during the 38th minute of the match. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Leonides Turi stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After 51 played minutes Ranchillo FC got a freekick which was hit by Everardo Sabino. With his leg Cristo Kinsen managed to avoid a goal in the 55thth minute, when Wilde AFC's Gilberto Raymond fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. 56 minutes into the game, Saturnino Galeno was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Ranchillo FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Wilde AFC the free kick. In the 56th minute, Saturnino Galeno hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 59 minutes into the match, Ranchillo FC's goalkeeper Cristo Kinsen had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Gilberto Raymond. Gilberto Raymond fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 63rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cristo Kinsen having to interfere. Alberto Bartolome's late challenge caught a Ranchillo FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Alberto Bartolome helped the player get up and apologised. After 67 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Wilde AFC! Moises Rosio blasted a shot towards the goal in the 76th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Cristo Kinsen having to make a save. Eugenio Cambranes hit a great freekick 77 minutes into the match. A collision led to Ranchillo FC getting a freekick after 78 minutes play. Everardo Sabino hit a great ball. Ranchillo FC's Cristo Kinsen played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Moises Rosio in the 80th minute of play. Rodrigo Anaya took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Leonides Turi, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 84th minute, Natalio Bieito got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 85th minute, Melquiades Ihazintu hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Wilde AFC's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
