The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. 3 minutes into the match, Celso Florinio had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Cristo Kinsen. Ranchillo FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Celso Florinio was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. 6 minutes into the match, Porvenir's goal looked a bit too open when Leonides Turi came free, but Hector Emmanuel reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Valentin Pagomari had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 9th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 11 played minutes Porvenir got a freekick which was hit by Amador Frasquito. 14 minutes into the match, Porvenir's Celso Florinio sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Cristo Kinsen narrowly saved just below the crossbar. If Leonides Turi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 23rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After 32 minutes, Valentin Pagomari made it 0-3 with a short kick to the right side. Ranchillo FC's Cristo Kinsen tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Natalio Bieito sent away a hard shot on goal in the 36th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Leonides Turi came up free with the goalie in the 39th minute, the Ranchillo FC fans jumped to their feet. Disappointed in the 0-3 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Leonides Turi to strike the kick off in the second half. After a defensive mix-up in Porvenir's zone, Leonides Turi stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Hector Emmanuel came out of the goal and Leonides Turi tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Celso Florinio in the 57th minute of play forced Ranchillo FC's goalkeeper Cristo Kinsen to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ricardo Frans hit a great freekick 58 minutes into the match. Cristo Kinsen showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Celso Florinio, who was totally free with the ball in the 58th minute. Ranchillo FC's Cristo Kinsen proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 60th minute of the match, managed to save Ranchillo FC from getting a goal against them. If Natalio Bieito had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 61st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Natalio Bieito in the 63rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Hector Emmanuel prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 70th minute, Porvenir's Celso Florinio ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Cristo Kinsen. Cristo Kinsen yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-4. 76 minutes into the match, Ranchillo FC's Ricardo Frans sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Hector Emmanuel narrowly saved just below the crossbar. A collision led to Porvenir getting a freekick after 81 minutes play. Remigio Erlantz hit a great ball. Hector Emmanuel showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Leonides Turi, who was totally free with the ball in the 84th minute. Silvano Flor hit a great freekick 86 minutes into the match. Hector Emmanuel made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Leonides Turi in the 88th minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 94th minute, Celso Florinio managed to get in a good position for a shot. Porvenir's supporters rose to their feet, but Celso Florinio was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Cristo Kinsen breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Porvenir eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
