After a rather tough play, Ñapinda's Apolo Weterio got a free kick in the 41st minute. Celedonio Calisto could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 46th minute of the match, but Marcelino Belasko made a huge save. After 49 minutes, Vicente Olayo mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Ñapinda and the Tablada AFC players grew even worse after the yellow card. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 48th minute of the game. One of Ñapinda:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Tablada AFC:s goal. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

Marcelino Belasko made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Raul Senen in the 57th minute of play. If Celedonio Calisto had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 59th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Denis Garikoitz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 77th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ignacio Peli having to interfere. When Ulises Rencio fell near the penalty area in the 81st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Tablada AFC's protests and gave Ulises Rencio a yellow card for diving instead. Ulises Rencio hit a great freekick 81 minutes into the match. Ñapinda's Marcelino Belasko played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Celedonio Calisto in the 88th minute of play. In the 90th minute of the match Juan Jerico shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Marcelino Belasko showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. When the match had gone on for 98 minutes, Baldomiro Fresco took a quick shot and it went in 2-1 without a chance for Ignacio Peli to make any attempt to save it. For all the effort they put into the match, the Ñapinda players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Tablada AFC.
