In the 10th minute, Nicolas Kepa hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Igor Qwinton succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 2-0 in the 11th playminute. Leonel Gaztea received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 17th minute. Agustin Lorien tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Aero club blanco y negro's Agustin Lorien played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Leonel Gaztea in the 19th minute of play. If Siro Estevon had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 20th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 30 played minutes Aero club blanco y negro got a freekick which was hit by Eusebio Savier. 32 minutes into the match, Aero club blanco y negro's goal looked a bit too open when Leonel Gaztea came free, but Agustin Lorien reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Cristian Eguen showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alberto Osoro in the 35th minute of the match. Domingo Videl hit a great freekick 37 minutes into the match. Leonel Gaztea blasted a shot towards the goal in the 47th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Agustin Lorien having to make a save. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-1.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Alberto Osoro stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Agustin Lorien showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Siro Estevon in the 56th minute of the match. In the 59thth minute of the game Alfredo Llin who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Aero club blanco y negro's Agustin Lorien was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After a rather tough play, Aero club blanco y negro's Igor Qwinton got a free kick in the 62nd minute. Pascual Rosio sent away a hard shot on goal in the 71st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Eusebio Savier charged in rather forcefully in the 73rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Eusebio Savier the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Aero club blanco y negro getting a freekick after 73 minutes play. Eusebio Savier hit a great ball. With an all-out effort, Ciudadela's Agustin Lorien threw himself towards the right post 78 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Alfredo Llin, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. In a very dangerous position, a player in Aero club blanco y negro fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 79th minute. Penalty! When the match had been going on for 82 minutes, Ciudadela's Gerardo Karmel got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Agustin Lorien. Agustin Lorien made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gerardo Karmel in the 87th minute of play. The supporters of Ciudadela booed when Aero club blanco y negro was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 90 match minutes in a wonderful position. Damian Lauro didn't get a good kick on the ball. Igor Qwinton fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 98th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cristian Eguen having to interfere.
