Tiburcio Feliz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 44th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Carmelo Benino having to interfere. Leopoldo Jokin charged in rather forcefully in the 46th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Leopoldo Jokin the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, RUSTICO's Leopoldo Jokin got a free kick in the 46th minute. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.
The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Tiburcio Feliz to strike the kick off in the second half. After 60 minutes, Delmiro Christobal mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the RUSTICO and the Desgarro FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Desgarro FC booed when RUSTICO was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 60 match minutes in a wonderful position. Delmiro Christobal didn't get a good kick on the ball. 62 minutes into the game, Genaro Corderro was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. RUSTICO's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Desgarro FC the free kick. Carmelo Benino made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tiburcio Feliz in the 88th minute of play. Leonel Dolfos received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 92nd minute. Amador Buinton tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Geronimo Rodas sent away a hard shot on goal in the 95th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Desgarro FC's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
