Carmelo Benino didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Beto FC. After a defensive mix-up in Desgarro FC's zone, Mariano Teodor stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Carmelo Benino came out of the goal and Mariano Teodor tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Mariano Teodor in the 13th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Carmelo Benino saved Desgarro FC from getting behind. Carmelo Benino stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Andres Lauro's shot from short distance in the 14th minute. Andres Lauro fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 16th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Carmelo Benino having to interfere. Carmelo Benino took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Andres Lauro, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 21 minutes into the match, Mariano Teodor had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Carmelo Benino. Desgarro FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Mariano Teodor was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. In the 25th minute Alejo Natal shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Raimundo Loren saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 25 minutes of play, Desgarro FC's Alejo Natal made it 1-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Raimundo Loren was left in no man's land by his defense there! The audience was convinced that Andres Lauro's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Carmelo Benino was relentless in the 28th minute of the game. The Beto FC fans' excitement grew in the 33rd match minute when Beto FC's Mariano Teodor looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-3 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mariano Teodor in the 36th minute of play forced Desgarro FC's goalkeeper Carmelo Benino to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Carmelo Benino showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mariano Teodor, who was totally free with the ball in the 37th minute. 42 minutes in the game, Andres Lauro dribbled his way through the penalty area and after maneuvering past an opponent, drilled a quick shot at the goal. The ball looked like it was going in, but it was hit a bit too hard and flew over the goal. In the 44th match minute, Desgarro FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alejo Natal to maneuver through the defense. After the first half Beto FC were leading 1-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Carmelo Benino showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Andres Lauro in the 52nd minute of the match. In the 60th match minute, Desgarro FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Osvaldo Ursino to maneuver through the defense. The long shot by Cipriano Perfecto in the 61st minute really tested Carmelo Benino's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. 69 minutes into the match, Beto FC's goal looked a bit too open when Leonel Dolfos came free, but Raimundo Loren reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 72nd minute of the match, Mariano Teodor got a very nice opportunity to score, but Carmelo Benino was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Andres Lauro succeeded in the game's 74th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 1-7. Desgarro FC's defense didn't have a chance, in the 79th minute, when Andres Lauro scored to the left of an out of position Carmelo Benino, making the score, 1-8. Carmelo Benino made an important save on a dangerous shot by Mariano Teodor in the 83rd minute. Andres Lauro did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 1-10 to the left of a surprised Carmelo Benino 90 minutes into the match. Mariano Teodor could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 94th minute of the match, but Carmelo Benino made a huge save. Beto FC played a much better game than Desgarro FC and deserved their victory. The Desgarro FC players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
