Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Abel Baldovino started the match with the kick off. After a rather tough play, Ilisca 's Teodosio Fanuco got a free kick in the 4th minute. Teofilo Vela sent away a hard shot on goal in the 6th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Amado Lohitzun charged in rather forcefully in the 8th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Amado Lohitzun the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 8 played minutes Ilisca got a freekick which was hit by Amado Lohitzun. In the 10th minute, Amado Lohitzun hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Abel Baldovino fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 11th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Desiderio Totakoxe having to interfere. 14 minutes into the match, Ilisca 's Abel Baldovino sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Desiderio Totakoxe narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 17th match minute, Mojón was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Fausto Mateo to maneuver through the defense. In the 18th minute Amado Lohitzun shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Desiderio Totakoxe saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Ilisca 's zone, Teofilo Vela stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Angelino Cuartio came out of the goal and Teofilo Vela tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Angelino Cuartio came out of the goal in the 24th minute to try and stop a shot by Mojón's Nicasio Cordaro. But to his dismay, Nicasio Cordaro quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. After a defensive mix-up in Mojón's zone, Amado Lohitzun stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Desiderio Totakoxe came out of the goal and Amado Lohitzun tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 33 minutes into the match, Abel Baldovino dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Desiderio Totakoxe, 1-1. Desiderio Totakoxe made an important save on a dangerous shot by Virgilio Ferdinand in the 44th minute. 48 minutes into the match, Virgilio Ferdinand notched a goal, 2-1, to the right of Mojón's Desiderio Totakoxe. Desiderio Totakoxe was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-1 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Nicasio Cordaro to make the kick off. Angelino Cuartio showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Raimundo Pedroso in the 60th minute of the match. Angelino Cuartio made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nicasio Cordaro in the 62nd minute of play. In the 62nd match minute, Ilisca was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Omar Rey to maneuver through the defense. When Nicasio Cordaro came up free with the goalie in the 66th minute, the Mojón fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Nicasio Cordaro couldn't finish the play. Nicasio Cordaro recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 67th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When Teofilo Vela came up free with the goalie in the 71st minute, the Mojón fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Teofilo Vela couldn't finish the play. If Nicasio Cordaro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 73rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 81 minutes had been played when some careless play by Ilisca 's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Gavino Leizarraga was slow to take the kick. During this time Mojón's players had a chance to rest. After taking down the ball on Mojón's corner Gavino Leizarraga fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Angelino Cuartio quite easily take care of the ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Octavio Emesto during the 88th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Octavio Emesto kicked well hit freekick during the 88th minute of the match. Abel Baldovino fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 91st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Desiderio Totakoxe having to interfere. Nicasio Cordaro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 98th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. For all the effort they put into the match, the Mojón players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Ilisca .
