The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for R.A.S. FC. The referee gave Buenos Aires FC a penalty, 86 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Antonio Mingo, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of R.A.S. FC's Faustino Vitin. 2-1. Ruben Lizer kicked well hit freekick during the 91st minute of the match. Rodrigo Solustiano might have been able to make a better finish in the 93rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Blas Rio. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Rodrigo Solustiano ran back to his position shaking his head. The crowd rose to their feet as Tiburcio Arlo kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Blas Rio. That made the score 2-2 in the 98 minute of play. Buenos Aires FC succeeded in salvaging a draw, even though R.A.S. FC had controlled the match.
