In the 12th minute Gavino Handi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Adrian Ritchie saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Luisito Pinto hit a great freekick 13 minutes into the match. 15 minutes into the game, Luisito Pinto was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Yuto AFC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave funesdios the free kick. A collision led to Yuto AFC getting a freekick after 15 minutes play. Luisito Pinto hit a great ball. Gavino Handi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 19th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Adrian Ritchie having to interfere. In the 22nd minute Gavino Handi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Adrian Ritchie saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Yuto AFC were awarded a corner in the 24th minute after funesdios's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Luisito Pinto took the corner. The corner ended in Luisito Pinto almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but funesdios's Adrian Ritchie did a great save. In the 25th minute of the match, Adolfo Lizbeth tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Pepe Santoro saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. After a rather tough play, funesdios's Hipolito Weterio got a free kick in the 27th minute. Pepe Santoro showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Adolfo Lizbeth in the 32nd minute of the match. Gavino Handi's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Adrian Ritchie read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 35th minute of play. Adrian Ritchie came out of the goal and Dionisio Nisio tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Felipe Odon charged in rather forcefully in the 39th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Felipe Odon the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Yuto AFC booed when funesdios was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 39 match minutes in a wonderful position. Felipe Odon didn't get a good kick on the ball. Gavino Handi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 41st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a rather tough play, Yuto AFC's Dionisio Nisio got a free kick in the 43rd minute. Pepe Santoro made an important save on a dangerous shot by Hermengildo Pancho in the 44th minute. Pepe Santoro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Adolfo Lizbeth in the 46th minute of play. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.
The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Adolfo Palos was the one to do the kick off. Adolfo Lizbeth recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 53rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Pepe Santoro showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Hermengildo Pancho in the 58th minute of the match. A collision led to funesdios getting a freekick after 58 minutes play. Augusto Rainerio hit a great ball. Gavino Handi struck a weak shot in the 63rd minute. Adrian Ritchie didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Yuto AFC. Gavino Handi could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 68th minute of the match, but Adrian Ritchie made a huge save. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Augusto Rainerio during the 68th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 68th minute, Augusto Rainerio hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Gavino Handi could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 74th minute of the match, but Adrian Ritchie made a huge save. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 84 minutes, Rafael Poz mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Yuto AFC and the funesdios players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 84th minute, Rafael Poz hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 88th minute, Gavino Handi ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Adrian Ritchie was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. With his leg Adrian Ritchie managed to avoid a goal in the 92ndth minute, when Yuto AFC's Gavino Handi fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. In the 96th minute the ball was on its way in behind funesdios's goalkeeper Adrian Ritchie, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar.
