Everyone was convinced a goal was close when LAS ESTRELLAS DE BANFIELD's Paulino Hegoi in the 15th minute lifted the ball towards the upper right corner, but Eusebio Gaufred was perfectly placed and prevented a goal for Bernasconi FC through an amazing save. After 16 minutes, Ernesto Selatse mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Bernasconi FC and the LAS ESTRELLAS DE BANFIELD players grew even worse after the yellow card. The crowd rose to their feet as Baldomiro Marquez kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Eusebio Gaufred. That made the score 1-0 in the 34 minute of play. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Emilio Piorno stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After 52 minutes, Angel Silbestre mouthed his way into the referee's book. The LAS ESTRELLAS DE BANFIELD fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 4-0. When the referee ended the match the LAS ESTRELLAS DE BANFIELD players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
