But to his dismay, Celso Sarracino quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. After 10 played minutes Palmeritas FC got a freekick which was hit by Marcial Omero. Jesus Mark fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 12th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Federico Pietro having to interfere. Orlando Remigio charged in rather forcefully in the 13th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Orlando Remigio the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 14th minute Benito Bermudo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Federico Pietro saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Palmeritas FC's Federico Pietro played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Celso Sarracino in the 18th minute of play. After 27 minutes, Marcial Omero mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Palmeritas FC and the Triperos FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. Triperos FC's Agustin Ado proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 31st minute of the match, managed to save Triperos FC from getting a goal against them. In the 35th minute, Orlando Remigio hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 39 minutes had been played when some careless play by Palmeritas FC's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Benito Bermudo was slow to take the kick. During this time Triperos FC's players had a chance to rest. Triperos FC's Benito Bermudo was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Federico Pietro in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. In the 43rd match minute, Palmeritas FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Angelo Canor to maneuver through the defense. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Angelo Canor recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 60th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 63 minutes of play, Triperos FC's Jesus Mark made it 0-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Federico Pietro was left in no man's land by his defense there! Celso Sarracino fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 77th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Federico Pietro having to interfere. Federico Pietro made an important save on a dangerous shot by Jesus Mark in the 83rd minute. 88 minutes into the match, Palmeritas FC's goal looked a bit too open when Celestino Igon came free, but Federico Pietro reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Federico Pietro made a fantastic save in the 97th minute, when Jesus Mark sent off a good shot on target.
