After some careless play in the C.A.Los Andes defense, Emilio Piorno kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Vinicio Natanael. The C.A.Los Andes fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Vinicio Natanael should have stopped the shot. In the 7th minute, Emilio Piorno left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Bernasconi FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. If Flavio Gotzon had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 11th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Emilio Piorno in the 13th minute of play forced C.A.Los Andes's goalkeeper Vinicio Natanael to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ernesto Selatse charged in rather forcefully in the 20th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Ernesto Selatse the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The referee ignored Bernasconi FC's protests and gave Santos Lapurdi a yellow card for diving instead. After 23 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Bernasconi FC! Eusebio Gaufred showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Julio Gar in the 32nd minute of the match. Ernesto Selatse kicked well hit freekick during the 33rd minute of the match. Julio Gar didn't have the luck on his side when he, from a short distance, got a opportunity for a shot on goal in the 34th minute. The shot missed the goal on the right side and Julio Gar ran dejectedly back to his position. Ambrosio Kinsen hit a great freekick 35 minutes into the match. In the 36th minute, Fulgencio Pinto got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 40th match minute, C.A.Los Andes was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Carmelo Artal to maneuver through the defense. The C.A.Los Andes players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Bernasconi FC were winning 1-2.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Emilio Piorno made a kick off. The crowd rose to their feet as Emilio Piorno kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Vinicio Natanael. That made the score 1-3 in the 53 minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in C.A.Los Andes's zone, Emilio Piorno stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Vinicio Natanael came out of the goal and Emilio Piorno tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 69th minute, Fulgencio Pinto left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The C.A.Los Andes fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-3. Flavio Gotzon received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 73rd minute. Vinicio Natanael tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ambrosio Kinsen's late challenge caught a C.A.Los Andes's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Ambrosio Kinsen helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Bernasconi FC getting a freekick after 81 minutes play. Ambrosio Kinsen hit a great ball. Emilio Piorno sent away a hard shot on goal in the 85th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 89th minute, Julio Gar got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 93 minutes into the match, Bernasconi FC's goal looked a bit too open when Fulgencio Pinto came free, but Eusebio Gaufred reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.
