Bernasconi FC's Eusebio Gaufred played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Angelo Canor in the 66th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Emilio Piorno in the 71st minute of play forced Palmeritas FC's goalkeeper Federico Pietro to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Marcial Omero fell near the penalty area in the 96th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Palmeritas FC's protests and gave Marcial Omero a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Bernasconi FC booed when Palmeritas FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 96 match minutes in a wonderful position. Marcial Omero didn't get a good kick on the ball. Bernasconi FC's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Oscar Quinito in the 99th minute. Palmeritas FC's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
