After 27 minutes, Arsenio Calvino mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Casa Targaryen and the Grüttly AFC players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 27 played minutes Casa Targaryen got a freekick which was hit by Arsenio Calvino. Amador Canor came free with the goalkeeper in the 30th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Venancio Ayala could save by the left post. If Isaac Lopez had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 31st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Eriberto Argi showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alfonso Orlin, who was totally free with the ball in the 39th minute. The supporters of Grüttly AFC booed when Casa Targaryen was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 40 match minutes in a wonderful position. Elvio Eleder didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 46 played minutes Casa Targaryen got a freekick which was hit by Juan Bernard. Eriberto Argi showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alfonso Orlin, who was totally free with the ball in the 48th minute. After the first half Grüttly AFC were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Everardo Maties to make the kick off. Venancio Ayala showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Isaac Lopez in the 51st minute of the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Amador Canor in the 57th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Venancio Ayala saved Grüttly AFC from getting behind. A hard shot by Marco Mendiko from long distance, 63 minutes into the match, got Eriberto Argi's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. Venancio Ayala showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Amador Canor, who was totally free with the ball in the 66th minute. When the match had gone on for 70 minutes, Isaac Lopez put it in 3-1 from a short distance just to the right of Venancio Ayala. Everardo Maties struck a weak shot in the 80th minute. Eriberto Argi didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Grüttly AFC. Grüttly AFC's Venancio Ayala played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Isaac Lopez in the 83rd minute of play. In the 88thth minute of the game Isaac Lopez who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Grüttly AFC's Venancio Ayala was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 91st minute the ball was on its way in behind Grüttly AFC's goalkeeper Venancio Ayala, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After some fancy dribbling in the 92nd minute, Ubaldo Montel managed to get in a good position for a shot. Casa Targaryen's supporters rose to their feet, but Ubaldo Montel was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Venancio Ayala breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Grüttly AFC's Venancio Ayala played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Amador Canor in the 96th minute of play. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Casa Targaryen had played much better football throughout.
