The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. 0-1 became the score in the 4th minute when Julio Gar elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. When the match clock showed 10 minutes, the score became 0-2 when Julio Gar sped through HUMO FC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Haroldo Bemabe. Haroldo Bemabe showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Julio Gar in the 14th minute of the match. Vinicio Natanael acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 19th minute, took the ball on the long shot from Leonides Claus. In the 21st minute, Artemio Unax got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The audience was convinced that Artemio Unax's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Vinicio Natanael was relentless in the 23rd minute of the game. 28 minutes into the match, HUMO FC's goal looked a bit too open when Julio Gar came free, but Haroldo Bemabe reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Artemio Unax in the 32nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Vinicio Natanael prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Vinicio Natanael showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Artemio Unax in the 39th minute of the match. Vinicio Natanael took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Artemio Unax, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Haroldo Bemabe showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Julio Gar, who was totally free with the ball in the 48th minute. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Artemio Unax stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Basilio Matro, 58 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Artemio Unax in the 69th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Vinicio Natanael saved C.A.Los Andes from getting behind. After a defensive mix-up in C.A.Los Andes's zone, Guillermo Rius stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Vinicio Natanael came out of the goal and Guillermo Rius tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Artemio Unax fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 75th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Vinicio Natanael having to interfere. After 77 minutes, Hermengildo Tabb mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the C.A.Los Andes and the HUMO FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 77th minute, Hermengildo Tabb hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Julio Gar fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 85th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Haroldo Bemabe having to interfere. HUMO FC's Haroldo Bemabe played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Julio Gar in the 87th minute of play. With a little luck, HUMO FC's Haroldo Bemabe got control of the ball when Fulgencio Pinto tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 89th minute, Hernan Vigil hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 91 minutes into the game, Carmelo Artal was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. C.A.Los Andes's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave HUMO FC the free kick. The supporters of HUMO FC booed when C.A.Los Andes was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 92 match minutes in a wonderful position. Carmelo Artal didn't get a good kick on the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Artemio Unax in the 98th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Vinicio Natanael prevented the ball from getting in the gole. C.A.Los Andes were delighted with the way they had won the match. They had held their defensive line well and made the most of their chances, to claim a victory over HUMO FC's much stronger midfield.
