Benigno Ramond took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Augusto Mikelar, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Benigno Ramond came out of the goal in the 8th minute to try and stop a shot by Carrisito FC's Augusto Mikelar. But to his dismay, Augusto Mikelar quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Benigno Ramond made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Marcelo Gines in the 16th minute of play. Augusto Mikelar sent away a hard shot on goal in the 21st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Marcelo Gines in the 23rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Benigno Ramond saved Hércules BP from getting behind. Eduardo Gurutz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Inocencio Gorosti in the 26th minute of the match. After 27 played minutes Hércules BP got a freekick which was hit by Lisandro Maiorga. 32 minutes into the match, Carrisito FC's Augusto Mikelar sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Benigno Ramond narrowly saved just below the crossbar. When Augusto Mikelar came up free with the goalie in the 36th minute, the Carrisito FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Augusto Mikelar couldn't finish the play. 40 minutes into the match, Hércules BP's goal looked a bit too open when Augusto Mikelar came free, but Benigno Ramond reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 46th minute the ball was on its way in behind Hércules BP's goalkeeper Benigno Ramond, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The wind increased when Benjamin Celino made the kick off in the second half. When Benjamin Celino came up free with the goalie in the 53rd minute, the Hércules BP fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Benjamin Celino couldn't finish the play. Marcial Gaueko's late challenge caught a Carrisito FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Marcial Gaueko helped the player get up and apologised. In the 61st minute Benjamin Celino shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Eduardo Gurutz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 67th minute Santos Lehoi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Benigno Ramond saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 69 minutes had been played when some careless play by Hércules BP's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Agustin Quintun was slow to take the kick. During this time Carrisito FC's players had a chance to rest. A nice corner shot did that Agustin Quintun got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Benigno Ramond quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Benjamin Celino in the 71st minute of play forced Carrisito FC's goalkeeper Eduardo Gurutz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 73 played minutes Carrisito FC got a freekick which was hit by Rosendo Dantel. Inocencio Gorosti's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Eduardo Gurutz read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 78th minute of play. An unexpected shot in the 85th minute by Augusto Mikelar got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. After some fancy dribbling in the 86th minute, Marcelo Gines managed to get in a good position for a shot. Carrisito FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Marcelo Gines was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Benigno Ramond breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 88th minute, Augusto Mikelar fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Benigno Ramond, passed just outside the right post. 92 minutes into the game, Augusto Mikelar recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Benigno Ramond. Augusto Mikelar showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-2. When the match was over Carrisito FC could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Hércules BP throughout the match.
