Amadeo Ihintza made a fantastic save in the 8th minute, when Augusto Mikelar sent off a good shot on target. Damaso Otsoko's late challenge caught a Carrisito FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Damaso Otsoko helped the player get up and apologised. A hard shot 11 in the game by Augusto Mikelar from a close distance when the talented Amadeo Ihintza managed to make a qualified save. Islas's players were relieved. Horacio Miliano hit a great freekick 12 minutes into the match. 13 minutes into the match, Carrisito FC's goal looked a bit too open when Rodrigo Calisto came free, but Eduardo Gurutz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Islas's defense didn't have a chance, in the 14th minute, when Augusto Mikelar scored to the left of an out of position Amadeo Ihintza, making the score, 1-0. Isaac Ovando took the ball and in the 18 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Eduardo Gurutz. Eduardo Gurutz dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. Carrisito FC's Eduardo Gurutz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Fernan Orland in the 22nd minute of play. Horacio Miliano hit a great freekick 23 minutes into the match. After a rather tough play, Carrisito FC's Marcelo Gines got a free kick in the 24th minute. Rodrigo Calisto recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 25th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When Damaso Otsoko was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 29 minutes had been played. After a rather tough play, Islas's Damaso Otsoko got a free kick in the 29th minute. Amadeo Ihintza made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Santos Lehoi in the 31st minute of play. 35 minutes into the game, Marcelo Gines cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-1. Amadeo Ihintza was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Marcelo Gines during the 45th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to Carrisito FC getting a freekick after 45 minutes play. Marcelo Gines hit a great ball. Rodrigo Calisto's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Eduardo Gurutz read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 48th minute of play. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-1 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Rodrigo Calisto made a kick off. If Augusto Mikelar had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 53rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Fernan Orland hit a great freekick 54 minutes into the match. When Fernan Orland came up free with the goalie in the 62nd minute, the Islas fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Fernan Orland couldn't finish the play. Rodrigo Calisto sent away a hard shot on goal in the 64th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Amadeo Ihintza made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Augusto Mikelar in the 69th minute of play. Marcelo Gines hit a great freekick 70 minutes into the match. In the 74th minute, Rosendo Dantel hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a defensive mix-up in Carrisito FC's zone, Rodrigo Calisto stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Eduardo Gurutz came out of the goal and Rodrigo Calisto tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Thanks to some nice moves Rodrigo Calisto could shoot a difficult shot in the 80th minute, which Eduardo Gurutz however easily saved by the left post. After a rather tough play, Carrisito FC's Marcelo Gines got a free kick in the 82nd minute. Eduardo Gurutz didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Rodrigo Calisto went, in the 87th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-2 was the resulting score. Rodrigo Calisto fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 91st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Eduardo Gurutz having to interfere. Rodrigo Calisto in the 92ndth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Eduardo Gurutz, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save.
