In the 4th match minute, Independiente was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Baldomero Manilan to maneuver through the defense. 5 minutes into the match, Independiente's goal looked a bit too open when Angel Abar came free, but Fernan Jaunti reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Angel Abar fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 11th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fernan Jaunti having to interfere. After a rather tough play, C. A. Barracas Central's Jonathan Mitxel got a free kick in the 14th minute. After having played for 23 minutes, Ermegildo Gorri managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Independiente's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ermegildo Gorri was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Fernan Jaunti showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Arturo Tolino in the 26th minute of the match. Florentino Seguinus charged in rather forcefully in the 31st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Florentino Seguinus the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After having played for 32 minutes, Angel Abar managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. C. A. Barracas Central's supporters crossed their fingers, but Angel Abar was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Ermegildo Gorri fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 40th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cosme Ritchie having to interfere. Cosme Ritchie made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nicasio Ugaitz in the 42nd minute of play. Ermegildo Gorri recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 47th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Ermegildo Gorri was the one to do the kick off. In the 56th minute, Angel Abar hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Ermegildo Gorri fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 61st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cosme Ritchie having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in C. A. Barracas Central's zone, Hermengildo Bastia stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Cosme Ritchie came out of the goal and Hermengildo Bastia tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Ermegildo Gorris short, quick shot in the 69thth minute got Cosme Ritchie to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. 76 minutes into the match, Independiente's goal looked a bit too open when Angel Abar came free, but Fernan Jaunti reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ermegildo Gorri fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 80th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cosme Ritchie having to interfere. Fernan Jaunti showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from David Ramond in the 84th minute of the match. When Baldomero Manilan fell near the penalty area in the 86th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Independiente's protests and gave Baldomero Manilan a yellow card for diving instead. After 87 played minutes Independiente got a freekick which was hit by Baldomero Manilan. Neither set of supporters seemed pleased with the draw, but both teams had played equally well today.
