In the 8th minute, Jose Poncio got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Igor Polo shot the penalty kick right outside the post. 29 minutes into the game, Electrodo Fútbol Club's Jose Poncio nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Luciano Bernard made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. Baltasar Remigio's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Gaudencio Sandalio firmly grabbed it by the left post. With a little luck, Electrodo Fútbol Club's Gaudencio Sandalio got control of the ball when Baltasar Remigio tried to sneak it across the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Fernando Abancens in the 45th minute of play forced Epicúreos del Jardín's goalkeeper Luciano Bernard to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Hipolito Cordarrol had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 48th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Fernando Abancens stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Gaudencio Sandalio came out of the goal in the 52nd minute to try and stop a shot by Epicúreos del Jardín's Amador Leheren. But to his dismay, Amador Leheren quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. After 62 minutes of play, Epicúreos del Jardín's Hipolito Cordarrol made it 2-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Gaudencio Sandalio was left in no man's land by his defense there! Gaudencio Sandalio didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Hipolito Cordarrol went, in the 68th minute, to the upper right corner, 3-1 was the resulting score. The audience thought a goal was coming when Jose Poncio got free with Luciano Bernard in the 73rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Epicúreos del Jardín's Luciano Bernard played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Fernando Abancens in the 75th minute of play. 80 minutes into the game, Luciano Regis was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Electrodo Fútbol Club's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Epicúreos del Jardín the free kick. Luciano Regis hit a great freekick 80 minutes into the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Baltasar Remigio in the 87th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Gaudencio Sandalio prevented the ball from getting in the gole. If Baltasar Remigio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 95th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Electrodo Fútbol Club's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
