Hermengildo Bastia's late challenge caught a Rodeo FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Hermengildo Bastia helped the player get up and apologised. After 23 played minutes Independiente got a freekick which was hit by Hermengildo Bastia. 24 minutes into the game, Ramiro Raymon was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Independiente's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Rodeo FC the free kick. After a rather tough play, Independiente's Ramiro Raymon got a free kick in the 24th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Florentino Silvanito in the 28th minute of play forced Independiente's goalkeeper Fernan Jaunti to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After having played for 30 minutes, Baldomiro Cugat managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. In the 53rd minute of the match Independiente got a corner. Rodeo FC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. A well-hit corner resulted in Baldomero Manilan heading the ball towards the goal, but to his dismay he misdirected it and missed the goal completely. Oscar Iraunkor kicked well hit freekick during the 56th minute of the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Florentino Silvanito in the 58th minute a chance for a shot on goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Eusebio Palos in the 81st minute of play forced Rodeo FC's goalkeeper Jesus Hondo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The crowd rose to their feet as Florentino Silvanito kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Fernan Jaunti. That made the score 1-4 in the 83 minute of play. If Florentino Silvanito had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 90th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Fernan Jaunti took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Florentino Silvanito, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After some fancy dribbling in the 95th minute, Florentino Silvanito managed to get in a good position for a shot. Rodeo FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Florentino Silvanito was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Fernan Jaunti breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. When the final whistle sounded Rodeo FC left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Independiente.
