But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Esteve Rico couldn't finish the play. With a little luck, Jose Artigas C. F.'s Leonides Bladi got control of the ball when Orlando Dalmai tried to sneak it across the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Federico Castel in the 12th minute of play forced MARTINI UNITED's goalkeeper Siro Errando to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The supporters of Jose Artigas C. F. booed when MARTINI UNITED was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 13 match minutes in a wonderful position. Virgilio Austin didn't get a good kick on the ball. Cristo Berdaitz shot the penalty kick by force right in the crossbar. No goal. If Orlando Dalmai had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 32nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With his leg Leonides Bladi managed to avoid a goal in the 34thth minute, when MARTINI UNITED's Orlando Dalmai fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Orlando Dalmai struck a weak shot in the 55th minute. Leonides Bladi didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for MARTINI UNITED. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Orlando Dalmai in the 56th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Leonides Bladi prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 58thth minute of the game Orlando Dalmai who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Jose Artigas C. F.'s Leonides Bladi was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Leonides Bladi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Orlando Dalmai in the 60th minute of play. Leonides Bladi took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Orlando Dalmai, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a defensive mix-up in Jose Artigas C. F.'s zone, Urbano Rosalio stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Leonides Bladi came out of the goal and Urbano Rosalio tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 68th minute, Bonifacio Gonsalvo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Orlando Dalmai in the 70th minute of play forced Jose Artigas C. F.'s goalkeeper Leonides Bladi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Leonides Bladi showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Orlando Dalmai in the 74th minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 75th minute, Orlando Dalmai managed to get in a good position for a shot. Orlando Dalmai blasted a shot towards the goal in the 94th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Leonides Bladi having to make a save. When the referee blew the final whistle jeers and boos were heard from the home team's supporters. They were angered to see MARTINI UNITED lose a match they had controlled from the kick-off.
