Colonia's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Jeremias Evangelista showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Amador Mannie in the 29th minute of the match. The supporters of Deportivo Grillo booed when S.D. Colonia was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 31 match minutes in a wonderful position. Teo Benino didn't get a good kick on the ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Norberto Laurentzi during the 37th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. When S.D. Colonia's Patricio Gizon, in the 40th minute, received a pass right in front of the net, it looked like a certain goal, but his shot went outside. A wasted opportunity for S.D. Colonia. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Amador Mannie made a kick off. 51 minutes into the match, Deportivo Grillo's goal looked a bit too open when Teo Benino came free, but 唐景辰 reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Cleto George had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 53rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a defensive mix-up in Deportivo Grillo's zone, Camilo Fraco stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. 唐景辰 came out of the goal and Camilo Fraco tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 唐景辰 took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Teo Benino, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Amador Mannie took the ball and in the 58 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Jeremias Evangelista. Jeremias Evangelista dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. In the 64th match minute, S.D. Colonia was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Camilo Fraco to maneuver through the defense. After 67 minutes of play, Deportivo Grillo's 尤益勇 made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Jeremias Evangelista was left in no man's land by his defense there! The audience thought a goal was coming when 尤益勇 got free with Jeremias Evangelista in the 76th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 78th minute of the match Andres Abilio sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Jeremias Evangelista skillfully saved the ball. In the 79th match minute, S.D. Colonia was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gilberto Dimo to maneuver through the defense. 80 minutes into the match, S.D. Colonia's goal looked a bit too open when Aquilino Chan came free, but Jeremias Evangelista reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 83rd minute Celso Gumaro shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jeremias Evangelista saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Colonia supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Deportivo Grillo's performance. The match ended with a win for Deportivo Grillo.
