The audience was convinced that Ramiro Vasco's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Ambrosio Donostia was relentless in the 14th minute of the game. After having played for 15 minutes, Urbano Gilen managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. sol de mayo's supporters crossed their fingers, but Urbano Gilen was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Tiburcio Tolino fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 19th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Camilo Rencio having to interfere. 33 minutes into the game, Anacleto Arixo cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Camilo Rencio was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Modesto Pereyra received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 39th minute. Camilo Rencio tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Tiburcio Tolino came up free with the goalie in the 42nd minute, the Palomar fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Tiburcio Tolino couldn't finish the play. Ricardo Leocadio's late challenge caught a Palomar's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Ricardo Leocadio helped the player get up and apologised. After 43 played minutes sol de mayo got a freekick which was hit by Ricardo Leocadio. Tiburcio Tolino blasted a shot towards the goal in the 46th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Camilo Rencio having to make a save. After some careless play in the sol de mayo defense, Modesto Pereyra kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Camilo Rencio. The sol de mayo fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Camilo Rencio should have stopped the shot. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-2 lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Ramiro Vasco stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Alvaro Gaitano hit a great freekick 55 minutes into the match. After a defensive mix-up in Palomar's zone, Urbano Gilen stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ambrosio Donostia came out of the goal and Urbano Gilen tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The crowd rose to their feet as Palomar's Modesto Pereyra slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Camilo Rencio. That made the score 0-3 after 65 minutes of play. In the 69th minute, Modesto Pereyra got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Modesto Pereyra sent away a hard shot on goal in the 72nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The audience was convinced that Gerardo Telesforo's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Camilo Rencio was relentless in the 75th minute of the game. In the 76th minute, Ramiro Vasco ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Ambrosio Donostia was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-3. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Leon Tanio during the 86th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Leon Tanio kicked well hit freekick during the 87th minute of the match. When Urbano Gilen came up free with the goalie in the 90th minute, the sol de mayo fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Urbano Gilen couldn't finish the play. 96 minutes into the match, Urbano Gilen notched a goal, 3-3, to the right of Palomar's Ambrosio Donostia. Ambrosio Donostia was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. When the referee blew the final whistle, you could see the dissatisfaction in the Palomar players' eyes. They were disappointed they hadn't taken more from the game.
