Cristo Padro didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Amador Mannie went, in the 20th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. In the 25th minute Arturo Beremundo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but 唐景辰 saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The Las Pelotas F.C. players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Deportivo Grillo were winning 0-1.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Bernabe Peyo was the one to do the kick off. Las Pelotas F.C.'s Cristo Padro proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 52nd minute of the match, managed to save Las Pelotas F.C. from getting a goal against them. The Deportivo Grillo supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Deportivo Grillo would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
