Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Arnaldo Mergildo started the match with the kick off. The audience thought a goal was coming when Nicolas Orlin got free with Roque Lorencio in the 4th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After 5 played minutes Alsina got a freekick which was hit by Eduardo Guillelmo. Arnaldo Mergildo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 7th minute. Roque Lorencio tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Alsina's Gervasio Montay got a free kick in the 8th minute. Arnaldo Mergildo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 16th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Palanca's Tadeo Santio played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Nicasio Locaio in the 18th minute of play. Silvestre Fe sent away a hard shot on goal in the 21st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The attack was good, but when Arnaldo Mergildo in the 23rd minute was about to shoot he didn't kick quite good enough and the ball went high over goal. Jorge Bernad fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 30th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Roque Lorencio having to interfere. Silvestre Fe succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 1-0 in the 33rd playminute. Roque Lorencio was out of position in the 36 minute of play, and Arnaldo Mergildo capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Arnaldo Mergildo really showed his touch with that goal: 2-0. Silvestre Fe fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 44th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Roque Lorencio having to interfere. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-1.

After a rather tough play, Palanca's Virgilio Salvadore got a free kick in the 52nd minute. In the 55th minute Evaristo Cortez shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tadeo Santio saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Jorge Bernad fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 56th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Roque Lorencio having to interfere. Roque Lorencio made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Arnaldo Mergildo in the 59th minute of play. If Arnaldo Mergildo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 61st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. The audience thought a goal was coming when Gervasio Montay got free with Tadeo Santio in the 62nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Tadeo Santio was a little too slow when Gervasio Montay got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 64th minute. The score was now 2-2. The supporters of Alsina booed when Palanca was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 67 match minutes in a wonderful position. Guaberto Calisto didn't get a good kick on the ball. Tadeo Santio showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Evaristo Cortez, who was totally free with the ball in the 72nd minute. Arnaldo Mergildo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 74th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Silvestre Fe might have been able to make a better finish in the 77th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Roque Lorencio. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Silvestre Fe ran back to his position shaking his head. Virgilio Salvadore sent away a hard shot on goal in the 80th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 82nd minute, Arnaldo Mergildo got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. If Arnaldo Mergildo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 85th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Eduardo Guillelmo in the 87th minute of play forced Palanca's goalkeeper Tadeo Santio to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Silvestre Fe struck a weak shot in the 88th minute. Roque Lorencio didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Palanca. Jorge Bernad sent away a hard shot on goal in the 92nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Arnaldo Mergildo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 97th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Palanca were unable to convert their possession into goals, allowing Alsina to leave the ground with a draw.
