Leonel Lesardo charged in rather forcefully in the 19th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Leonel Lesardo the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to leprosario getting a freekick after 19 minutes play. Leonel Lesardo hit a great ball. When Silvestre Fe came up free with the goalie in the 23rd minute, the Palanca fans jumped to their feet. If Jorge Bernad had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 25th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Benedicto Mateus stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Arnaldo Mergildo's shot from short distance in the 34th minute. In the 39th minute, Jorge Bernad got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Palanca's Tadeo Santio played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ubaldo Rosio in the 43rd minute of play. Ubaldo Rosio hit a great freekick 44 minutes into the match. Amancio Goito received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 46th minute. Tadeo Santio tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Pablo Argoitz was the one to do the kick off. Tadeo Santio was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Amancio Goito showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 0-1 in the 60 minute of play. Benedicto Mateus took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Nicolas Orlin, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 66 minutes into the game, Palanca's Arnaldo Mergildo nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Benedicto Mateus made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. Arnaldo Mergildo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 70th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Guaberto Calisto received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 71st minute. Benedicto Mateus dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-1. Virgilio Salvadore fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 88th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Benedicto Mateus having to interfere. After a rather tough play, leprosario's Ubaldo Rosio got a free kick in the 90th minute. When the referee ended the match the Palanca players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
