Spectators: 7195 (Terracing: 5430, Seating: 1665, VIP seats: 100) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Amador Oxel took the kick off in the first half of the match. Apolo Gorka received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 3rd minute. Fulgencio Hegoi tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After having played for 4 minutes, Amador Oxel managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. San Martín FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Amador Oxel was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Fulgencio Hegoi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Apolo Gorka in the 5th minute of play. The supporters of San Martín FC booed when Sporting Club was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 6 match minutes in a wonderful position. Evaristo Teyo didn't get a good kick on the ball. 7 minutes into the match, Sporting Club's goal looked a bit too open when Amador Oxel came free, but Fulgencio Hegoi reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Godfredo Giro recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 15th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Lucas Jago kicked well hit freekick during the 15th minute of the match. Fulgencio Hegoi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Amador Oxel in the 22nd minute of play. Godfredo Giro fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 25th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Melchor Su having to interfere. Fulgencio Hegoi took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Apolo Gorka, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Melchor Su didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Godfredo Giro went, in the 36th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-0 was the resulting score. Casimiro Rocio could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 39th minute of the match, but Melchor Su made a huge save. San Martín FC's Melchor Su proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 48th minute of the match, managed to save San Martín FC from getting a goal against them.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Godfredo Giro to strike the kick off in the second half. Amador Oxel might have been able to make a better finish in the 55th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Fulgencio Hegoi. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Amador Oxel ran back to his position shaking his head. If Amador Oxel had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 56th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Apolo Gorka came free with the goalkeeper in the 60th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Fulgencio Hegoi could save by the left post. After having played for 70 minutes, Amador Oxel managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Amador Oxel in the 72nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Fulgencio Hegoi saved Sporting Club from getting behind. In the 74th minute, Apolo Gorka got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 77 minutes into the match, Amador Oxel dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Fulgencio Hegoi, 2-1. The audience was convinced that Godfredo Giro's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Melchor Su was relentless in the 83rd minute of the game. Melchor Su didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Casimiro Rocio went, in the 91st minute, to the upper right corner, 3-1 was the resulting score. Godfredo Giro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 96th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. For all the effort they put into the match, the San Martín FC players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Sporting Club.
