The audience thought a goal was coming when Francisco Oier got free with Genaro Regis in the 3rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Team Gelmetti's defense didn't have a chance, in the 5th minute, when Francisco Oier scored to the left of an out of position Genaro Regis, making the score, 1-0. 10 minutes into the game, San Martín FC's Apolo Gorka nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Genaro Regis made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-0. Genaro Regis made an important save on a dangerous shot by Apolo Gorka in the 20th minute. 21 minutes into the match, San Martín FC's goal looked a bit too open when Evelio Millan came free, but Melchor Su reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 22 played minutes San Martín FC got a freekick which was hit by Francisco Oier. 23 minutes into the game, Apolo Gorka was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. San Martín FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Team Gelmetti the free kick. In the 23rd minute, Apolo Gorka hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Genaro Regis was a little too slow when Amador Oxel got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 29th minute. The score was now 3-0. Francisco Oier could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 34th minute of the match, but Genaro Regis made a huge save. Team Gelmetti's Genaro Regis played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Amador Oxel in the 37th minute of play. With an all-out effort, San Martín FC's Genaro Regis threw himself towards the right post 39 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Lucas Jago, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Melchor Su showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Angelo Joseph, who was totally free with the ball in the 42nd minute. Angelo Joseph sent away a hard shot on goal in the 46th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Melchor Su took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Fernando Pudes, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 3-0.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Amador Oxel to strike the kick off in the second half. Angelo Joseph sent away a hard shot on goal in the 51st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 53rd minute Apolo Gorka shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Genaro Regis saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Apolo Gorka in the 56th minute of play forced Team Gelmetti's goalkeeper Genaro Regis to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Genaro Regis made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lucas Jago in the 60th minute of play. Danilo Karmel lost his temper 62 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. In a very dangerous position, a player in Team Gelmetti fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 62nd minute. Penalty! In the 64th minute there was a penalty for San Martín FC. Alonzo Pancho stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Genaro Regis. 4-0. Lucas Jago sent away a hard shot on goal in the 67th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 68th match minute, Team Gelmetti was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Sebastian Evarado to maneuver through the defense. Cecilio Loco's late challenge caught a San Martín FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Cecilio Loco helped the player get up and apologised. After 71 played minutes Team Gelmetti got a freekick which was hit by Cecilio Loco. Genaro Regis stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Apolo Gorka's shot from short distance in the 73rd minute. In the 74th minute, Francisco Oier got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Team Gelmetti's Genaro Regis played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Apolo Gorka in the 75th minute of play. Angelo Joseph blasted a shot towards the goal in the 80th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Melchor Su having to make a save.
