Benito Camela Tripa's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. Benito Camela Tripa's supporters crossed their fingers, but Pablo Dabi was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After 34 played minutes Benito Camela Tripa got a freekick which was hit by Gaudencio Furtado. Fernando Pudes got in the 36th a clear chance and fired away a hard shot against goal, but Ermegildo Franco handled the situation perfectly and made a save by the crossbar. Evelio Millan recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 38th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Genaro Regis made an important save on a dangerous shot by Dionisio Estebe in the 43rd minute. The crowd rose to their feet as Cornelio Poncio kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Genaro Regis. That made the score 2-0 in the 45 minute of play. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-0.

Benito Camela Tripa's supporters rose to their feet, but Pablo Dabi was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Genaro Regis breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. An unexpectedly hard shot by Diego Mikolas in the 68th minute of play forced Team Gelmetti's goalkeeper Genaro Regis to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 73rd minute, Angelo Joseph made a precise shot to the right of Ermegildo Franco. Benito Camela Tripa's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-1. In the 78th minute, Cornelio Poncio left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Benito Camela Tripa fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 4-1. In the 81st minute Pablo Dabi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Genaro Regis saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Genaro Regis was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Benito Camela Tripa fully deserved thier win.
