Ignacio Costante took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Virgilio Montez, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ivan Hunfredo's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Saturnino Gonzalez read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 18th minute of play. Cristobal Artal hit a great freekick 18 minutes into the match. Elvio Sidro fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 20th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Saturnino Gonzalez having to interfere. If Elvio Sidro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 21st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. If Virgilio Montez had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 25th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A hard and well directed shot from Genaro Clementi led 28 minutes into the game to a goal after the ball had bounced deceptively just in front of the goal. Huelén's Ignacio Costante became a little unsure and couldn't grip the ball before it was over the goalline. Thus it was 0-1. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Virgilio Montez was the one to do the kick off. After some fancy dribbling in the 51st minute, Ivan Hunfredo managed to get in a good position for a shot. Huelén's supporters rose to their feet, but Ivan Hunfredo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Saturnino Gonzalez breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 54th minute Virgilio Montez shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ignacio Costante saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 60th minute, Cesar Kusko managed to get in a good position for a shot. Huelén's supporters rose to their feet, but Cesar Kusko was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Saturnino Gonzalez breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Jose Orixe recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 63rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Jose Orixe sent away a hard shot on goal in the 72nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The supporters of Victoria booed when Huelén was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 73 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ulises Cordario didn't get a good kick on the ball. Saturnino Gonzalez showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ivan Hunfredo in the 79th minute of the match. When Huelén's Elvio Sidro in the 80th minute got a chance for a shot 80th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Victoria's goalie prevented a goal. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Cesar Kusko during the 83rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Angel Salvatore charged in rather forcefully in the 88th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Angel Salvatore the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Thanks to some nice moves Genaro Clementi could shoot a difficult shot in the 90th minute, which Ignacio Costante however easily saved by the left post. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Victoria eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
