Maximino Hanni hit a great ball. After a rather tough play, Independiente's Anibal Ponce got a free kick in the 83rd minute. In the 85th minute, Gualterio Vela hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 90th minute, Baldomiro Naelio left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Independiente fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 5-0. Prudencio Pueblo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 95th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 96th minute, Baldomiro Naelio managed to get in a good position for a shot. Independiente's supporters rose to their feet, but Baldomiro Naelio was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Genaro Aznaro breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. There was no doubt that Independiente were the better team. Independiente's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
