The audience thought a goal was coming when Basilio Aureo got free with Maximiliano Pere in the 97th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. When the match was over Unión could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than GaboN F.C. throughout the match.
