Spectators: 6653 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1653, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Rigoberto Lawrence got the match started through his kick off. Genaro Aznaro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Basilio Beturian in the 4th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Basilio Beturian in the 7th minute of play forced Corpus FC's goalkeeper Genaro Aznaro to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Maximino Hanni hit a great freekick 9 minutes into the match. In the 10th minute of the match Elvio Bordat shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Genaro Aznaro showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. 13 minutes into the match, Mixto's Basilio Beturian sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Genaro Aznaro narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Basilio Beturian might have been able to make a better finish in the 14th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Genaro Aznaro. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Basilio Beturian ran back to his position shaking his head. After 22 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Mixto! Uriel Cutberto showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rigoberto Lawrence in the 26th minute of the match. Uriel Cutberto made a fantastic save in the 27th minute, when Victoriano Bingen sent off a good shot on target. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Pastor Benet during the 28th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Pastor Benet kicked well hit freekick during the 28th minute of the match. 30 minutes into the match, Basilio Beturian had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Genaro Aznaro. Corpus FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Basilio Beturian was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. The crowd rose to their feet as Rigoberto Lawrence kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Uriel Cutberto. That made the score 1-1 in the 34 minute of play. Genaro Aznaro took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cornelio Luar, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Rigoberto Lawrence had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 45th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Basilio Beturian stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. If Basilio Beturian had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 56th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 58th minute, Cornelio Luar ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Genaro Aznaro was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-2. If Victoriano Bingen had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 65th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 1-3 became the score in the 69th minute when Basilio Beturian elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. Luisito Inko shot the penalty kick right outside the post. Rigoberto Lawrence recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 78th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Basilio Beturian had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 81st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some careless play in the Mixto defense, Rigoberto Lawrence kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Uriel Cutberto. The Mixto fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Uriel Cutberto should have stopped the shot. Cornelio Luar could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 87th minute of the match, but Genaro Aznaro made a huge save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Basilio Beturian in the 89th minute of play forced Corpus FC's goalkeeper Genaro Aznaro to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Basilio Beturian had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 90th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The Corpus FC supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Mixto's performance. The match ended with a win for Mixto.
