Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Ivan Hunfredo got the match started through his kick off. Freddy Oliviero received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 4th minute. Nereo Perez tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The audience was convinced that Ivan Hunfredo's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Nereo Perez was relentless in the 6th minute of the game. Huelén's Ignacio Costante played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Saturnino Jatsu in the 8th minute of play. Nereo Perez didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Ivan Hunfredo went, in the 9th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. Nereo Perez showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ivan Hunfredo, who was totally free with the ball in the 20th minute. After a rather tough play, Unión's Fidel Peruxu got a free kick in the 20th minute. Elvio Sidro fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 22nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nereo Perez having to interfere. Ivan Hunfredo's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Nereo Perez read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 24th minute of play. In the 26th minute, Romulo Lluc hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 27 minutes into the game, Huelén's Elvio Sidro nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Nereo Perez made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. After a defensive mix-up in Unión's zone, Ivan Hunfredo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Nereo Perez came out of the goal and Ivan Hunfredo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Nereo Perez showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Elvio Sidro in the 36th minute of the match. Ivan Hunfredo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 37th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nereo Perez having to interfere. Nereo Perez took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ivan Hunfredo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 40 minutes into the game, Huelén's Ivan Hunfredo nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Nereo Perez made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-3. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Saturnino Jatsu in the 44th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Ignacio Costante saved Huelén from getting behind. The Unión players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Huelén were winning 0-3.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Saturnino Jatsu stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After some careless play in the Unión defense, Elvio Sidro kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Nereo Perez. The Unión fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Nereo Perez should have stopped the shot. 62 minutes into the game, Ulises Cordario was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Huelén's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Unión the free kick. A collision led to Huelén getting a freekick after 62 minutes play. Ulises Cordario hit a great ball. Ivan Hunfredo struck a weak shot in the 70th minute. Nereo Perez didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Huelén. In the 71st minute, Abelardo Burni hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 76 minutes into the match, Unión's Saturnino Jatsu sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Ignacio Costante narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After a rather tough play, Unión's Romulo Lluc got a free kick in the 82nd minute. Nereo Perez was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 83rd minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Angel Salvatore. After 87 played minutes, Unión's Celedonio Medardo shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Ignacio Costante came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Unión reached it. 89 minutes into the match, Unión's goalkeeper Nereo Perez had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Elvio Sidro. In the 93rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Unión's goalkeeper Nereo Perez, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Huelén's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
