Ariel Bento charged in rather forcefully in the 19th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Ariel Bento the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, Kentacky F.C.'s Ariel Bento got a free kick in the 19th minute. GaboN F.C.'s Maximiliano Pere played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rafael Elija in the 28th minute of play. Raimundo Bernat showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Hector Conrao in the 35th minute of the match. A hard shot by Flavio Montae from long distance, 36 minutes into the match, got Maximiliano Pere's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. 44 minutes into the match, Wilfredo Orzaize had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Raimundo Bernat. Kentacky F.C.'s manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Wilfredo Orzaize was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

Hector Conrao struck a weak shot in the 52nd minute. Raimundo Bernat didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for GaboN F.C.. Hector Conrao could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 54th minute of the match, but Raimundo Bernat made a huge save. Ariel Bento fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 57th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Maximiliano Pere having to interfere. If Rafael Elija had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 62nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After a rather tough play, Kentacky F.C.'s Ariel Bento got a free kick in the 72nd minute. Wilfredo Orzaize was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 77th minute. GaboN F.C.'s manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. Maximiliano Pere showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Vicente Artizar, who was totally free with the ball in the 79th minute. In the 89th minute, Vicente Artizar ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Maximiliano Pere was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-1. 94 minutes into the match, Rafael Elija notched a goal, 3-1, to the right of GaboN F.C.'s Maximiliano Pere. Maximiliano Pere was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it.
