After 12 played minutes, Corpus FC's Leonides Iturri shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Maximiliano Pere came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Corpus FC reached it. In the 14th minute, Maximino Hanni hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Genaro Aznaro yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-0. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Wilfredo Orzaize to make the kick off. Hector Conrao fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 53rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Genaro Aznaro having to interfere. After 58 played minutes GaboN F.C. got a freekick which was hit by Bernardo Gartzi. After having played for 60 minutes, Victoriano Bingen managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Corpus FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Victoriano Bingen was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. It seemed to be an obvious goal in the 63rd minute, but Maximiliano Pere got his fingers on the ball or the save, leaving GaboN F.C. hanging dry this time. With a little luck, GaboN F.C.'s Maximiliano Pere got control of the ball when Victoriano Bingen tried to sneak it across the goal line. 70 minutes into the match, GaboN F.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Rigoberto Lawrence came free, but Maximiliano Pere reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Rigoberto Lawrence struck a weak shot in the 71st minute. Maximiliano Pere didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Corpus FC. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Wilfredo Orzaize couldn't finish the play. Wilfredo Orzaize sent away a hard shot on goal in the 80th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 88th minute of the match, Rigoberto Lawrence tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Maximiliano Pere saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Maximiliano Pere was a little too slow when Rigoberto Lawrence got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 93rd minute. The score was now 2-1. After a rather tough play, Corpus FC's Leo Dalmu got a free kick in the 96th minute. Celso Hernando was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 97th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. For all the effort they put into the match, the Corpus FC players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for GaboN F.C..
